hello, im tom doyle!
I am a 38 year old marketing director and graphic designer, from Ann Arbor, MI. I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. I have created designs for Max Broock Realtors, the tire retailer Belle Tire, the customer experience analytics firm ForeSee, as well as corporations and publications such as Traverse Magazine, the American Institute of Graphic Arts, and Northern Doors, among others.
I am highly proficient in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, HTML, CSS, Microsoft Office and Powerpoint, as well as traditional illustration and photography. It is important to me that I remain proficient in the most up-to-date design technologies, both to ensure that my clients are receiving the best possible care as well as to fulfill my own expectations.
My mind occupies the same space that the visual world inhabits. Our first interactions with the world are generally based on sight, and often we make decisions based on these visual impressions. Capturing the essence or quality of an event or identity through the medium of design, be it on a promotional poster, business card, logo or website, is what I was made to do. I thrive on familiarizing myself with the qualifications of a project/event, and creating its visual representation. I love considering the endless numbers of angles from which a design might be approached, discussing with the client their exact expectations and goals, and finding the design equivalent.
